Farewell 2019...

Dear Friends,

It’s been a while since I was in touch and there is a good reason for that - life simply got in the way.

I went on maternity leave, became a mum and whoosh that’s it, 7 months (or longer) whizzed by.

I wanted to write to you before the year ends to say ‘Thank You’ for your continued support and to let you know about some upcoming events in January.

I’ve also been thinking a lot about the year gone by. What I achieved, what I didn’t and what I am most proud of.

Giving birth to our daughter is definitely my proudest moment, as well as the days, weeks and months that followed for me and my husband.

I never realised quite how difficult becoming a parent was going to be, or equally, just how fulfilling it is - it’s love, like no other before.

In this short time as a parent I’ve learnt a lot more about myself, more about patience, more about the importance of being present and more about accepting things for what they are, in that moment.

As I pause to think about my year gone by, I invite you to do the same…

Take a moment to acknowledge what’s happened, what you’ve achieved. What remains on the ‘to do list’, what to carry into the new year and what to let go of.

Most of all take a moment to be PROUD of you - who you are, and what you achieved, however big or small.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. EXHALE 2019 and INHALE the new energy for 2020.

Wherever in the world you are, whether you celebrate Christmas or not I hope you get some time out from your normal day. Time to spend with family, friends or loved ones.

I look forward to seeing many of you on the mat in the new year.

Not only a new year, but a new decade - how exciting is that!

Best wishes,

Kat x
