Nafas is the Persian word for Breathe. 

Kat, the founder of Nafas Yoga’s husband is Iranian and together, they have two beautiful girls who represent the East and the West. Weaving their cultures together is important and this is how Nafas Yoga came to be. 

Nafas yoga is a small home studio nestled in South Woodford, East London, offering a space for you to move and breathe. 

How often do you breathe consciously? 

We breathe every moment of every day, but it’s not often we actually acknowledge it.

When we breathe more consciously we’re able to move into the parasympathetic nervous system, moving away from the fight or flight mode, which we so often find ourselves in. 

Yoga provides an opportunity for us to connect breath and movement to bring some calm into our bodies and our minds. 

There are huge benefits from establishing a regular yoga practice - both physical and mental.

Yoga is for everyone - if you can breathe, then you can do yoga.
